About UrbanCraft Texture Pack 1.5.2
Gun mayhemgaming potatoes. It's a pain, yes, but until Notch supports texture packs fully by letting us use custom biomes, water and lava, it's the only way to access them. I suggest using the Beta patcher I've provided in the link below. It installs once and lets you swap between any texture pack with the normal texture pack selector (in the main menu of Minecraft). With Minecraft texture packs (now called resource packs), you can completely transform Minecraft's blocky look into what ever style suits you. They'll still stay blocky, of course, but new textures.
This texturepack WILL MAKE YOUR NORMAL WORLDS LOOK WEIRD. Very much so actually. But it will make the UCP buildings look awesome. Of course you can use this in creative mode to build epic modern stuff but always keep in mind that these buildings will not be compatible with other texture packs.

In order to use HD texture packs properly (32× and higher) you will need to either patch your Minecraft using MCPatcher or using OptiFine. Optifine is preferred as it includes all of the features of MCPatcher, and greatly increases game speeds and graphics settings. MCPatcher tends to be updated on the same day as Minecraft updates, so use it instead if you are in a hurry.
- 1.Download either MCPatcher or OptiFine. If you downloaded OptiFine, skip to step 3.
- 2.For MCPatcher: Run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and proceed to click “patch.”
- 3.For Optifine: Install OptiFine like any other mod – By opening minecraft.jar, and placing the .class files from Optifine’s zip file within.
